host.video is built and maintained by the expert media engineering team at ittybit.

Our engineers have worked in video encoding and delivery for over 30 years, bringing experience from the BBC, HBO, and Hulu.

Other members of our team come from professional video production, creating content for Electronic Arts, GM, adidas, and Nike. Whilst others bring deep expertise in developer tool and enterprise technical sales.

We have offices in London and MediaCityUK and team members across the UK, Europe, and the USA.

Product

We started host.video because ittybit customers frequently needed simple, secure, video hosting with enterprise and team features.

After helping major conference and education platforms deploy solutions like this, we packaged the APIs and best practices into a turnkey product that even non-technical users can implement in minutes.

Now we support over 600 organisations and have a robust set of tools that help them use video effectively for e-learning, marketing, internal communications, and sales enablement.

Shareholders

Our co-owners include media and AI specialists Mercuri (LPs include Guardian Media Group, British Business Bank, and some of the world's largest publishers), AI-focused technology investors SVV, as well as Baltic Ventures, technology startup founders, and FTSE100 operators.
