Create an account, upload a video, and get your embed code in minutes
This guide walks you through the essentials: from signing up to embedding your first video.
Go to app.host.video/login and click Create account. Enter your email and set a password (or use a social login provider). Verify your email when prompted.
After signing in, you'll be prompted to create a team. Enter a team name and click Create. Teams are where your videos, settings, and members live.
You'll be redirected to the plan selection page. Pick Starter or Business depending on your needs, choose monthly or annual billing, and complete checkout through Stripe. A 14-day free trial is available for your first team.
From the dashboard, click the Upload button in the top-right corner. Select a video file and click Open. The upload starts immediately with a progress indicator. Once complete, the video moves to processing.
Click the video in your library to open the detail page. Here you'll see the title, description, AI-generated tags, transcript, and chapter markers once processing finishes. The right sidebar shows file details, analytics, and access rules.
On the video detail page, find the Embed section in the right sidebar. Click Copy to grab the iframe snippet. Paste it into any website or CMS to embed your video.
That's it — you're live.
