How to Import Videos from Another Platform

Request a white-glove migration of your video library from Vimeo, Google Drive, S3, Dropbox, Wistia, or another service

If you have an existing video library on another platform, host.video offers white-glove migration support. You submit a request with your details and the team handles the transfer.

Supported sources include Vimeo, Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox, and Wistia. If you're on a different platform, select Other and describe your setup.

Step 1: Open the Import page

In the left sidebar, click Import. The page shows a grid of supported platforms.

Step 2: Select your source platform

Click the card for the platform you're migrating from. If your platform is not listed, click Other.

A dialog opens with details about the migration process.

Step 3: Submit your migration request

Fill in the request form:

  • Team Name — pre-filled with your current team name
  • Service — pre-filled with the platform you selected
  • Contact — your email address, pre-filled from your account
  • Additional Info (optional) — include anything helpful, such as the number of videos, total storage size, or special requirements

Click Send Request to submit. The host.video team will follow up at your contact address to get the migration started.

After submitting

You'll see a confirmation in the dialog once your request is sent. The migration itself is handled by the host.video team — you don't need to export or transfer files yourself.
